The Red Bull Kumite Street Fighter 6 tournament will return to Paris for its 10th-anniversary celebration, set to take place from April 5th to 6th, 2025.

Since its inception in 2015, Red Bull Kumite has made stops in Japan, London, Las Vegas, South Africa, and New York. Eevent’s return to Paris adds extra significance, as it was the city where it all began.

This year’s Kumite sets its stage at the iconic Maison de la Mutualité, a conference center that hosts high-profile events, including meetings of French national political parties.

For the anniversary edition of the tournament, 16 of the best Street Fighter players will compete for victory. The event will see eight invited players who are well-established in the fighting game scene face off against six budding stars ready to prove their mettle. The remaining two slots are up for grabs in the Last Chance Qualifier and Play-In stages, taking place on April 5th.

This year’s main event on April 6th will follow Kumite’s signature format, with a live bracket drawing and BO5 single-elimination matchups to determine who claims victory.

Dominican powerhouse Saul Leonardo ‘MenaRD’ Mena, who claimed last year’s trophy by defeating Du ‘NuckleDu’ Dang, will return to defend his title.The 2025 edition will be marked by exciting partnerships, including collaborations with PlayStation and Start.gg, which has recently become an independent company.
