Diablo 4 Unveils 2025 Roadmap, To Receive Mouse And Keyboard Support For Consoles

Blizzard revealed Diablo 4’s 2025 roadmap on April 8 and confirmed that the game will finally receive mouse and keyboard support for consoles. The developers also revealed that the game will collaborate with two different IPs this year.

According to the blog post the developers published regarding the roadmap, they still cannot reveal which IPs they are going to collaborate with. What they can say is that these IPs complement Diablo’s dark themes.

Aside from that, there will be a few quality-of-life changes implemented along the way. The biggest one is the much-requested feature of keyboard and mouse support for consoles. It’s expected to be implemented between June and September. Core system updates are also going to be implemented to both the Battle Pass and Seasonal Journey.

A new ranking system and leaderboards will be added into the game in 2026.

Diablo 4’s Season of Witchcraft will end on April 29 and will be succeeded by the Season of Belial’s Return. According to the roadmap, there will be an earnable feline pet and a second-anniversary celebration.

The next season will also introduce new lair bosses, reliquaries, and an update to the game’s Seasonal Journey.

Diablo 4 was released in 2023 for the PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game was received positively by critics and earned $666 million in revenue within the first five days of its launch. A Steam version of the game was released in October 2023.
