Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 Drops New Location, Characters, and More

A massive regular update in Honkai: Star Rail – Version 3.2, titled “Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,” is launching on April 08, 2025, for the NA Server and April 09, 2025, for EU and Asia Servers, across all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.

In Phase 1 of the Version 3.2 update, Honkai: Star Rail will see the arrival of Castorice, a female character, one of the Amphroeus heroes, who has debuted in the Golden Epic Trailer. She is a 5-star Quantum character of the Remembrance Path. In Phase 2, Anaxa a male character, another of the heroes of Amphoreus and a 5-star Wind character of the Erudition Path, will join the roster.

On top of that, a new location called Styxia is coming to the game. This place was known as the City-State of Dragons and Waves and also used to be called Pearl of the Ocean. According to the Prophetic Poems, after experiencing a terrifying dragon-related catastrophe, Styxia fell and became abandoned, remaining as the Sea of Souls. In this new place, gamers will get new lantern missions that will allow them to open a new path through the lost city, meeting ghosts of former Styxia residents. During the exploration of the new location, players will encounter such monsters as Pollux, Netherwing Husk, and Ferry of Souls and face them in active combat.

It is worth noting that on its first anniversary, Honkai: Star Rail gave out a free limited character, Dr. Ratio which you could get only during the banner, and for its second anniversary, players can choose one of two limited characters, Luocha, a 5-star Imaginary Abundance and Ruan Mei, a 5-star Ice Harmony.

These livestream codes are limited and should be redeemed before they expire at 11:59 am (ET) on March 29. To redeem these codes, players have two options. The first is via the official Honkai: Star Rail website. Simply by logging in with the player’s account, gamers need to enter each code individually into the Redemption Code field, and submit. Once redeemed, the rewards will be delivered to the player’s in-game mailbox and should be claimed before they expire.

The second method is redeeming the codes directly within the game. The first step is pausing the game and then tapping the ellipsis icon in the top-right corner. From there, the gamer should select the Redemption Code option. Just like on the website, each code can be entered one at a time and then redeemed. The rewards will be sent to the player’s in-game mailbox, ready to be claimed.
