A Steam page for Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing was spotted with a release date of Q2 2025. The game is considered as one of the worst games of all time by multiple outlets.
Big Rigs: Over the Road has received a 1/10 from GameSpot and an 8/100 on Metacritic. GameSpot’s review reads “Big Rigs is a game so astoundingly bad that it manages to transcend nearly every boundary put forth by some of gaming’s absolute worst of the worst and easily makes it into that dubiously extraordinary category of being one of the most atrocious games ever published.”
According to Sergey Titov, the producer of the game, he licensed his Eternity game engine to Stellar Stone, the developers of Big Rigs: Over the Road. While he was credited as the lead programmer and producer of the game, he revealed in a 2008 interview that he did not have any part in developing the game. He also mentioned in the same interview that he does have the source code of the game, but can’t release it since it’s not his property.
Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing was first released in 2003 for the PC. The game was made by Stellar Stone and published by GameMill Publishing. The Steam page’s publisher was changed to Margarite Entertainment which is a publisher that just obtained rights to a “few classic games” according to their website.
