Japanese Team Tokido won in the grand finals of the debut Street Fighter 6 International Championship Reject Fight Night x Sajam Slam, which was held in Tokyo, Japan on March 16, 2025.

It is worth noting that Reject Fight Night and Sajam Slam are both team events in Japan and the USA, respectively. Reject Fight Night x Sajam Slam is an international tournament that combines them into one featuring both Japanese and American teams.

In the Grand Final, Team Tokido, representing Japan, faced off against Team Diaphone from North America. While Team Diaphone was assertive in the qualifiers, they were overpowered by Team Tokido’s aggressive and technical gameplay. In the Grand Final, Team Tokido clinched the title with a 4:1 scoreline.

Besides the tournament itself, the event also featured exhibition matches from Street Fighter 6’s top players, including RB vs. MenaRD, RB vs. Gachikun, and RB vs. Bonchan.

It is worth mentioning that Team Daigo (Japan) and Team Nephew (US) took third and fourth places, respectively.

Street Fighter 6 was developed and published by Capcom in 2023, and as of Dec. 31, 2024, the game had sold over 4.4 million units worldwide. On top of that, Street Fighter 6 became the first non-Smash fighting game to sell over one million units in Japan since Tekken 3 (1997).
