Blizzard revealed another collaboration with world renown K-Pop group, LE SSERAFIM, marking the group’s return to Overwatch 2.
The teaser features heroes Ashe, Juno, Mercy, Illari, and D.Va. Among them, D.Va is the only returning hero from the previous collaboration. Brigitte, D.Va, Kiriko, Sombra, and Tracer were LE SSERAFIM’s original counterparts during the first collaboration.
In the teaser, Blizzard announced the official release date for the full music video alongside the skin’s release in Overwatch 2, which is on March 17 at 8:30 pm PT.
In addition to the collaboration trailer, official concept arts for two of the five idols were revealed as well. The concept arts for Mercy and D.Va can be seen below.
The full music video is expected to feature the real members of LE SERRAFIM, blending animation and live-action cinematography to create a unique artistic experience.
In the previous collaboration music video for the single ‘Perfect Night,’ LE SSERAFIM members were shown dancing to the choreography, while their cartoon Overwatch Hero counterparts were animated zooming through traffic, shooting off into the night sky.
The first Overwatch x LE SSERAFIM collaboration was in November of 2023, where the K-Pop group debuted their single: Perfect Night. To celebrate the collaboration, in game events were held alongside limited-time cosmetics, which included skins for heroes. A similar trend is expected for the second collaboration, where Blizzard will debut an event alongside new cosmetics.
