Revealed during Nacon’s Connect 2025 presentation, Styx: Blades of Greed releases in Q4 of 2025. The game is a single player puzzle game developed by Cyanide Studio, and is arriving on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Only a single trailer was revealed thus far – but Nacon did publish the title’s Steam store page, which provides more context for the upcoming title. Styx: Blade of Greed will be single player only, meaning no online or cross-platform play will be supported. As of March 6, no minimum or recommended spec requirements were listed.
The goal of the game is to acquire Quartz, which is “the most precious – and dangerous – resource in a world on the brink of war between elves, humans, and orcs.” Blades of Greed refines preexisting game mechanics with a focus on creativity and freedom.
The puzzles in Styx: Blades of Greed will more than a single solution, thereby rewards players for being creative.
Cyanide Studio reintroduced Cloning and Invisibility mechanics to the series. The new material, Quartz, allows for Mind-Controlling and Time Shift abilities – serving as tools for players to creatively solve in-game puzzles.
The video game character, Styx, debuted in Styx: Master of Shadows – a title that was developed by Cyanide Studio and published in 2014. Styx: Shards of Darkness was the latest entry, having released in 2017.
