- Capcom has already laid down the first title update Monster Hunter Wilds is receiving.
- The game will receive a higher level difficulty as well as a Gathering Hub in early April.
- Monster Hunter Wilds is already receiving high praises from reviewers.
Capcom posted a title update information for Monster Hunter Wilds on Steam on February 27, a day before the game’s release. According to the post, the first title update for Monster Hunter Wilds includes two major things: A new level of difficulty and the Gathering Hub or something similar.
The new level of difficulty wasn’t explained quite clearly with the post only saying that it’s going to be at a level higher than tempered. Arch-tempered might be the most obvious answer, but subspecies like Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos can also be a possibility but might be highly unlikely.

The Gathering Hub being added at a later time might sound weird for long-time Monster Hunter players, however, it’s important to note that Monster Hunter Wilds is different from its past iterations. The beta gave players a glimpse as to how multiplayer will work in Monster Hunter Wilds and it’s looking to be lobby-centric.
Then again, it might not actually be the Gathering Hub as players already have the ability to join each other’s lobbies and go on hunts from there. This “place of gathering” might suggest something else entirely.
Monster Hunter Wilds is going to be released on February 28. The game has already garnered high praise from reviewers with the console versions of the game currently at 90/100 on Metacritic as of writing, a very impressive score.
