PlayStation VR2 Gets PC Adapter and Permanent $150 Price Cut Starting March 2025

- Sony has announced a $150 price cut for the PlayStation VR2 starting in March.
- The PS VR2 now includes new features like low-latency hand tracking.
- Sony also added a PC adapter to the new PS VR2, making VR titles from Steam available for owners.
PlayStation VR2 got a price cut of $150, starting in March 2025. The new cost of the PlayStation VR2 bundle, which includes the headset, PS VR2 Sense controllers, and stereo headphones, is set at $399.99. The original price of the headset on launch was $549.99.
On top of that, Sony announced that a special bundle of game Horizon Call of the Mountain with the PS VR2 headset, stereo headphones and PS VR2 Sense controllers will have the same price as the original gear.

An update to the PS VR2 also enables low-latency hand tracking, allowing developers to create games that track a player’s hand position and movement using the cameras built into the PS VR2 headset.
Sony’s move comes at a time when the PS VR2 lineup is expanding with Alien: Rogue Incursion, Skydance’s Behemoth, Metro Awakening VR, and Aces of Thunder. Furthermore, starting now, PS VR2 features a PC Adapter, allowing players to access and play VR titles available on Steam.
