Posted on Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), the accidental reveal presented the platforms the remakes will be on: PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. According to the leak, the game will be released in 2025, and will be rated “G” (General). No other information has been revealed.
As of February 25, an official announcement has yet to be made. The leak essentially confirmed the rumours of another Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remake, which have been circulating the internet over the past couple of weeks.
Despite no official confirmation, teasers for the upcoming title have been abundant – with the most marketing teaser having revealed a silhouette of a skater in Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
The prequel, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remake, sold over a million copies – making it the fastest-selling title in the long-running series. The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise, which debuted in the late 90s and hit peak popularity in the early 2000s, has become a defining series in skateboarding video games. Known for revolutionizing gameplay mechanics, it set a new standard for creativity and flow within the genre.
