Mortal Kombat Welcomes T-1000 From Terminator as its Newest DLC Character

- Mortal Kombat’s newest DLC, T-1000 will be available on March 18.
- Madam Bo is also being added as the newest Kameo Fighter.
- Players will be able to purchase the characters separately if they don’t have the Khaos Reigns expansion.
Mortal Kombat unveiled its upcoming DLC character T-1000 from the Terminator series. The announcement happened on February 23, the same day as Mortal Kombat’s Pro Kompetition is happening in Mexico.
T-1000 is from The Terminator series, originally popping up as the main antagonist of the 1991 “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”. The character is made up of liquid metal that can mimic people or objects that it comes to contact with. T-1000’s ability to turn into liquid metal can be seen in the teaser trailer uploaded in the official YouTube channel of the game where T-1000 morphs into liquid metal as part of his combo.
T-1000 is modeled after Robert Patrick’s depiction of the character. He also provided the character’s voice. In a tweet, Robert Patrick showed his excitement about joining Mortal Kombat.
Alongside this, Madam Bo is also going to be added as a Kameo Fighter. Madam Bo is a minor character in Mortal Kombat, only being shown in the game’s story mode as the owner of the Fengjian Teahouse. Her moves can also be seen in the video as part of T-1000’s combo. Both T-1000 and Madam Bo will be available on March 18 for Mortal Kombat: Khaos Reigns owners. Players will also be able to buy T-1000 and Madam Bo separately.
Mortal Kombat 1 was released in September 2023. The game received favorable reviews from Metacritic rating its PC version 82/100. A year later, NetherRealm Studios released the Khaos Reigns expansion which included a continuation of the game’s story mode.
