Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Closed Beta Release Date Revealed

The Sonic Racing CrossWorld closed beta was announced to release on February 21. Since it is a closed beta, players will likely have to sign up beforehand, after which a select number testers will be picked.
Sony shared the release date as a part of their State of Play presentation, during which they revealed a brand new trailer for the racing title. The game will support PS5, PS4, PC, and Xbox Series X/S — as revealed by their official website.

- Application open until February 18, 2025
- Network test Duration: February 22 at 8:00 am SGT – February 24, 2025 at 8:00 am SGT
Sonic Racing games have been around since the 90s – beginning with Sonic Drift for the Game Gear. Though not as popular as the Mario Kart franchise, the Sonic Racing titles have consistently been released for newer platforms.
The last Sonic Racing game was Team Sonic Racing, developed by Sumo Digital Ltd. and having been released in 2019. It was available on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Six years later, Sega AM3 R&D Division, a different game development studio, is in charge of creating the newest Sonic Racing game: Sonic Racing Crossworlds.
