Key points

  1. The release date leaked on the French MSI store, which displayed a countdown for the product.
  2. The countdown has since been taken down.
  3. A Danish Storefront revealed the same release date during a prior leak.

The RTX 5070 Ti release date was leaked on the French MSI store – where they displayed a countdown for February 20. Though the countdown did not specify that it was for the RTX 5070 Ti, the URL reportedly has ‘geforce-rtx-5070-ti-graphics-card’ in it.

As of February 11, the website mentioned is down, displaying a 404 error when attempting to navigate to it.

Danish retailer Proshop also listed the same release date in late January. The company posted the RTX 5070 Ti on its graphics card page, stating the launch would take place on February 20 at 3 pm. Unlike MSI, Proshop’s listing and release date remain publicly visible online.

With both the French MSI store and Danish retailer Proshop listing the same release date for the RTX 5070 Ti, speculation about the launch date’s accuracy is growing.

The RTX 5070 Ti is a midranged graphics card, priced at a MSRP of $749. It comes with a GDDR7 memory type, which has a 16 GB memory capacity, 256 bit interface, and 896 GB/s bandwidth.

Considering the 5080 and 5090 were sold out within seconds of release, there is a very high possibility that demand for the RRTX 5070 Ti will be high. The 5070 Ti will hopefully not have the same overheating issues reportedly prevalent in the 5090.
