No Man’s Sky: Voyagers was released on Aug. 27, adding full customization features for Corvette-class spaceships. These spaceships’ hull, wing, peripheral, bunk bed, and internal corridors can all be catered to the players’ liking, according to the official No Man’s Sky blog update. No Man’s Sky: Voyagers update also added full customizable button configurations for all platforms.
The ship customization features can be found in the Corvette Workshop aboard Space stations. To commemorate the debut of customizable Corvettes, a limited-time community expedition with exclusive rewards and “narrative-enhanced adventure” is underway. Within the expedition, the starship has been damaged beyond repair, and the Sentinel horde closes in. The player must fight back against the horde while maximizing the ship’s stats.
Corvettes are encountered after a significant amount of in-game progress. The Corvette expedition helps players get to the workshop faster, thereby allowing them to unlock the customization features more swiftly.
The official blog update provides more details regarding the customization features, including the style of acquirable furnishings, alongside providing pictures of said customization. Hello Games communicated that much of the technology required to make Voyagers is being shared in its next game: Light No Fire, an open-world, Earth-sized planet.
