Video game industry leaker Billbil-kun claims that the preorder release date for both variants of the ROG Xbox Ally will be Aug. 20, the same day the units will be first publicly presented at Gamescon 2025. The exact reasoning behind the release date was not made available, but Billbil-kun, who shared the leak on Dealabs, seems quite confident in the speculated preorder date.
Within the Dealabs article, Billbil-kun claims that the pricing for the ROG Xbox Ally will be 599 euros, while the ROG Xbox Ally X will cost 899 euros. No USD prices are yet known. The user sourced eXtas1s on X, who referenced three independent sources confirming the price points.
The exact release date for the Xbox Ally X and Xbox Ally is not yet known, but they are expected during the holiday season in 2025; the leaked date is solely for the preorder launch date.
