A Nintendo Switch 2 bundle was leaked, which includes the base Switch 2 console alongside Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The bundle is reportedly priced at $499.99 and is scheduled to release alongside Pokémon Legends: Z-A on Oct. 16, 2025. The console itself does not feature Pokémon-themed design. Instead, it is the base Switch 2 console with no extra accessories.
According to the box art, it comes with a full game download of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, thereby not including a physical cartridge of the title. The bundle costs $20 less than buying each separately, similar to the Mario Kart World bundle that released during the Switch 2’s initial debut.
The Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Pokémon Legends Z-A will have improved graphics and frame rates; the game will launch on both iterations of the Switch.
Pokémon Legends Z-A takes inspiration from Pokémon Legends Arceus, a critically acclaimed Pokémon adventure that released on Jan. 28, 2022. The game mixes turn-based combat with open-world action mechanics, thereby helping distinguish the title from the other entries in the series.
Nintendo Switch 2 reached the milestone of 5 million units sold globally, according to a sales charts on the company’s website. Nintendo Switch 2 sales started on June 5, 2025, at an initial price of $449.99 despite all the disturbances caused by US President Donald Trump’s tariffs.
