Initially released for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC on February 8, 2024, the cooperative third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment is set in the 22nd century and follows the story of shock troops called Helldivers, dispatched to combat various threats to humanity and to spread managed democracy.
The direct sequel to 2015’s Helldivers received 16 awards and two honorable mentions across various categories at multiple industry-recognized ceremonies. As of July 2025, Helldivers 2 has surpassed 15 million copies sold.
On Xbox, the title will be available in two different versions: the basic one costs $39.99, while the Super Citizen Edition is priced at $59.99.
