The news comes the day after Street Fighter 6 officially announced its collaboration with Aespa, a South Korean K-pop group of four members: Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning, known for popularizing the metaverse concept and hyperpop music, as of July 2025.
Developed by Krafton’s PUBG Studios and published by Krafton, the game is a PvP shooter in which up to one hundred players fight in a battle royale. Players can choose to enter the match solo, duo, or with a small team of up to four people. The last person or team alive wins the match. This figure does not include the free-to-play mobile version, PUBG Mobile, which, as of July 2025, has generated over $11 billion in revenue since its release in March 2018.
