Co-op climbing game Peak has reached 2 million copies sold within nine days of its launch for Windows PC on Steam.
Developed and published by Aggro Crab, in cooperation with Landfall Games, Peak was launched on June 16, 2025, and its rising popularity has prompted its creators to start working on a content update, which has yet to be specified. The developer only hinted that it won’t be huge because the team is currently prioritizing bug fixes. The news was announced by Aggro Crab via a grateful post on the title’s Steam page.
As of the time of writing, the co-op game has an online peak of 102,799 concurrent players and a “Very Positive” rating on Steam based on 18,980 reviews.
Peak supports cooperative play for up to four users, who must work together to climb a mountain following a crash landing on an unknown island. The game’s map cycles every 24 hours and does not repeat.
A year ago, Aggro Crab’s previous title, Another Crab’s Treasure, reached 500,000 copies sold. But unlike Peak, it gathered its numbers not just from PC sales but also from PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
