ARC Raiders Release Date Announced During Summer Game Fest

Embark Studios has announced that ARC Raiders will launch on October 30, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The extraction shooter was originally intended to release in 2022 but underwent significant changes during development, including the addition of PvP and a shift from a free-to-play model to a premium $40 title.
ARC Raiders is a third-person PvPvE extraction shooter where players — solo or in squads — drop into hostile zones to scavenge for loot, complete objectives, and extract safely. Along the way, they must battle both aggressive AI enemies and other player teams competing for the same resources. The game supports solo, duo, or trio play.
The release date was revealed during the Summer Game Fest 2025 showcase, following a series of technical tests earlier in the year. The playtests ran parallel to the alpha test of Bungie’s similar title Marathon and drew significantly more player interest and engagement by comparison.
