- R.E.P.O. will receive a new weapon and a few balance changes regarding health in the future.
- The developers did not mention when these will be implemented.
- R.E.P.O. is a survival horror game released on Feb. 26, 2025, for the PC.
The co-op horror survival game R.E.P.O. is set to receive balance changes in the future, which include a new weapon and health tweaks. The developers, Semiwork, did not mention when these updates would be implemented.
According to the video that Semiwork posted, the developers are implementing changes to health kits—more specifically, their cost. Once the update drops, there will be discounts for health kits depending on how many there are in the team. The more players, the cheaper the kit.
The truck will also be more generous with its healing. Below level five, the truck will heal 50 HP. Past level five, it will be reduced to 35 HP. Finally, after level 10, truck heals will be 25 HP.
Enemies are also going to receive some balancing from the developers, particularly those under level five. They will be much more susceptible to stuns when hit by smaller items.
A new weapon called the Cart Cannon will also be added to the game. From what was shown in the video, the Cart Cannon will have two forms: one that shoots in an area-of-effect manner, while the other seems to be a laser.
Although there’s no release timeline for the update, the video mentioned that it is coming soon to beta.
R.E.P.O. was released in early access on Feb. 26, 2025, for the PC. The game revolves around getting dropped into an area where players have to retrieve valuable items to sell for money. They can use the money they earned this way to buy items that can help make their next runs easier.
