Post-apocalyptic first-person MMO shooter Pioner is scheduled to launch in Early Access mode on Dec. 16, 2025.
The game is about to be released for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, nevertheless, it is not clear yet if it will be launched in early access mode across all platforms or just for Windows PC via Steam.
The game is set on the mysterious Soviet-era island of Tartarus over 50 square kilometers in size. According to the title’s developing and publishing studio GFAGAMES the title blends intense PvE and PvP action with player-driven storytelling, featuring faction missions, hidden dungeons, and different bioms. Pioner also offers extensive weapon customization (over 37 units presented on the game’s website), along with survival elements and a crafting system.
As recommended system requirements, the title’s Steam apge lists Windows 11, an Intel Core i5-8600 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, an Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU, and a broadband internet connection.
The reveal of the title’s launch day comes on the heels of the announcement that over 500,000 players added Pioner to their wishlist.
