Outbound developers confirm launch on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in Q2 2026

On Nov. 19, 2025, Outbound developers Square Glade Games and publisher Silver Lining Interactive confirmed that the game is coming to the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 the same day as PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The developers called the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 the “beloved home of cozy creative games” and added that Outbound “is ready to stake its claim among the greats.” The developers call the game a cozy survival camper van adventure game.
Outbound is going to be an open-world game where players try to survive an off-the-grid lifestyle with their van, complete with a modular building system and players growing their own crops.
Gaming.news reported about the game last month, when it reached over 1 million wishlists on Steam. The developers showed their gratitude by opening the game’s beta testing, with over 3,000 supporters invited to test the game’s single- and multiplayer modes.
Square Glade Games did not confirm whether the game will have couch co-op, but online multiplayer is already confirmed. Outbound is coming out in Q2 2026.
