Capcom has finally released the summary of its Q2 earnings call 2025 Q&A, and the company revealed that they are not expecting any problems with the PC version of Resident Evil Requiem, similar to the ones that Monster Hunter Wilds is currently having.
The company mentioned that the reason is that the two titles differ in gameplay, system, and networking. They added that they are “preparing to provide a comfortable playing experience for PC’s with a wide range of specifications.”
Capcom also said in the Q&A that one of its targets is for Resident Evil Requiem to surpass the initial sales figure of Resident Evil Village. The company mentioned that the game has been “well-received at various game shows.”
Another much-awaited game from Capcom was also mentioned in the Q&A, Pragmata, with people wondering what the company’s expectations were for the title. Capcom provided a non-answer, saying that it was highly praised at events like Tokyo Game Show, and that they will “continue to promote it with the aim of expanding its recognition among a wide range of users.”
The matter of Pragmata’s delay was also brought up, with them being asked about the status of accounting for the game’s development loss. Capcom simply replied that the impairment losses and other expenses for the title were appropriate and that the company does not expect a significant impact on future revenues.
