On Nov. 17, 2025, Sloclap, the people behind Rematch, announced that the game’s physical edition, Rematch: Elite Edition, is now available. The game is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC for $40, but the developers also said that regional prices might vary.

Those who buy the game’s physical edition will receive the following exclusive content:

  • Two Captain Pass Upgrade Tickets – This allows players to upgrade their Free Pass to the Captain Pass, giving access to premium rewards, including new hairstyles, shoes and clothing patterns. 
  • Blazon Player Background and Title – Showcase your style every time your name appears.

Currently, the game has a 24-hour Steam concurrent player peak of 4,256, but its all-time peak was five months ago with 92,841 players. It currently has “Mixed” reviews on Steam, with players mostly complaining about bugs and exploits.

Rematch is a multiplayer football game, usually 3v3, that was released on June 19, 2025. It was developed by Sloclap, the studio that also worked on Sifu and Absolver. The game, while being a multiplayer title, only had its crossplay functionality added in September.
