On Nov. 11, 2025, Little Orbit Inc. revealed StoneHold, a hybrid MOBA combining elements of third-person action similar to Smite with card game and deck-building aspects. The game will be available on Steam, with a console version coming sometime soon.
StoneHold allows players to choose from Wardens, the game’s equivalent of heroes, and play a 20-minute match in a 5v5 format. The mechanic that sets the game apart from every other MOBA out there is the existence of its deck-building strategy and card game aspects.
The developers mentioned that destroying turrets allows players to draw new Skill Cards mid-match, and returning to the base will allow them to swap their abilities to counter the opponent. This can result in chaotic fights, where players might be caught by surprise due to the opponent’s deck having cards they weren’t expecting.
Additionally, the developers mentioned that the game’s progression will be designed “around variety, not power creep,” which is often the case for a lot of card games. They said that they will be releasing new Wardens, card sets, events and balance changes to “keep every fight unpredictable.”
StoneHold is going to be a free-to-play title to be released on PC first, via Steam, Epic Games Store and GamersFirst. The developers said that a founder’s pack containing exclusive early rewards will be revealed soon.
