The developers at Battlefield Studios published an update blog regarding upcoming gameplay adjustments and changes for Battlefield 6. Among the announced changes are scheduled to launch on Nov. 18, as a part of the California Resistance event. Weapon dispersion’s speed of dispersion across all weapons, allowing for smoother gameplay. Aim Assist was tweaked to feel smoother and more predictable, targeted to help players “build stronger muscle memory.”

Prior to the announcement, EA published a patch update that largely prioritized gameplay stability and performance. The game achieved the most concurrent players in Battlefield history, with the Steam version of the game having surpassed 700,000 concurrent players on the platform.
The Battle Royale iteration of Battlefield 6 launched on Oct. 28. It has “Mixed” overall Steam reviews.
