Halo Infinite to receive final update as studio pivots focus to Halo: Combat Evolved

Halo: Infinite will receive its last major content update, Operation: Infinite on Nov. 18, 2025, as the game’s developer, Halo Studios (formerly 343 Industries), is about to focus its resources on other projects, including the upcoming Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake of the 2001 game’s campaign.
According to the update preview, Operation: Infinite will bring a new, free 100-tier Operation Pass featuring three new armor sets, 2XP for both Spartan Points and Career Rank, along with over 200 never-before-released armour pieces, armour attachments, coatings, charms, visors, and other Spartan ammunition parts.

In the game’s story mode, players assume the role of the character Master Chief as he wages war against an alien faction called the Banished.
