Feral Interactive announced on Nov. 6, 2025, that Hitman: Absolution is going to be released on the Nintendo Switch next week, Nov. 13, 2025. Hitman: Absolution is the fifth installment in the Hitman series, and was originally released in 2012.

In Hitman: Absolution, Agent 47 found himself protecting a fellow genetically enhanced human, this time a teenage girl, from parties that want to use her as a potential assassin in the future.

The game follows the typical Hitman gameplay. Players will pick missions and fulfill all the objectives. The game will have 20 missions, but a post-launch update in 2026 will add a “Contracts” mode, allowing players to take on missions designed by other players around the world, or make their own to upload online.

The Nintendo Switch version of Hitman: Absolution will feature quality-of-life changes, including gyro aiming. Other included features were not mentioned in the press release. Additionally, the game will also feature a “noticeable visual upgrade over its predecessor.”

Hitman: Absolution is the sequel to 2006’s Hitman: Blood Money. The game is already available on PlayStation 3 & 4, PC, Xbox 360, OS X, Xbox One, iOS, Android, and it will be available soon on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
