PlayStation Portal cloud streaming launches, featuring PlayStation 5 game support

PlayStation Portal received a major update, officially launching cloud streaming for PlayStation 5 games on Sony’s handheld gaming accessory, along with other new features on Nov. 5, 2025.
The cloud streaming feature became available for members of the PlayStation Plus Premium subscription plan.
Sony claimed that at launch, cloud streaming already supports thousands of PlayStation 5 titles, including such games as Grand Theft Auto V, Ghost of Yōtei, Resident Evil 4, Borderlands 4, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Fortnite, Cyberpunk 2077, God of War Ragnarök, Hogwarts Legacy, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and Astro Bot, with a full list of streamable titles availiable here.
PlayStation Portal also received a redesigned UI home screen, which now features three tabs: Remote Play, Cloud Streaming, and Search, along with 3D audio support, passcode lock, and network status screen.
Initially, PlayStation Portal was developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment as a handheld gaming accessory for the PlayStation 5 to stream video games and other media from a PlayStation 5 via the Portal’s WiFi connection using Remote Play.
The device’s main hardware includes an 8-inch LCD HD screen and all of the buttons and features of a standard DualSense controller. The PlayStation Portal runs on a Snapdragon 662 system-on-chip and utilizes a heavily modified version of Android 13.
