Warhammer 40K: Boltgun creators announce their take on Vampire Survivors set in Warhammer universes

A fast-paced roguelite bullet-hell title, Warhammer Survivors, was announced on Nov. 4, 2025, by its developer and publisher Auroch Digital, known for creating Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun and the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2.
Set for release in 2026, Warhammer Survivors will be a reimagining of the well-known Vampire Survivors, while set in the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes.
In the worlds of Warhammer 40,000, players will be able to assume control over characters such as Malum Caedo, protagonist of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun; Cadian Shock Trooper Kozlowski; and Space Marine Intercessor Brother Luca. Meanwhile, in the universe of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, players will be able to choose from the living weapon of the God-King Sigmar named Neave Blacktalon, master of the Celestial Greatblade Sharynn Azurwath, and the legendary Slayer Gotrek Gurnisson.
The title is being developed in partnership with the creators of the original Vampire Survivors, Poncle.
