Livestreaming service Kick introduces its first Drops in partnership with Rust

The Drops feature will be launched on the video livestreaming service Kick, with the inaugural event arranged in partnership with the multiplayer survival game Rust, as announced by the title’s developer on Nov. 3, 2025, via a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Rust Drops event on Kick will be launched on Nov. 13, 2025, and will run until Nov. 23, 2025.
To receive rewards, viewers first need to link their Kick and Rust accounts. For those who don’t own the game while watching, there will be an ability to get the drops awarded by Kick if they obtain the title within 180 days of the event.
To obtain rewards, viewers will need to watch participating streams and streamers for a certain amount of time, while for some rewards, any drops-enabled Rust stream on Kick will count toward progress.
As of the time of writing, general rewards include:
- 2 hours – Rock,
- 4 hours – Furnace,
- 6 hours – Armored Double Doors,
- 8 hours – Kick-themed Hazmat suit skin.
Ten Streamer Drops, each requiring 2 hours of watching, are yet to be revealed.
Developed and published by Facepunch Studios for macOS and Windows PCs, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, Rust has sold over 20 million copies on Steam alone, as was reported by Gaming.News earlier this year.
As of the time of writing, Rust has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 1,060,489 reviews.
