The game became available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud for members of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.
Developed by Sunset Visitor and published by Fellow Traveller Games, 1000xResist’s story centers on a clone named Watcher in the post-apocalyptic far future, where aliens have eradicated most of humanity through a global pandemic, leaving only a small society of clones behind.
Besides Xbox platforms, the game is also available on Windows PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
As of the time of writing, the game has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam with 4,115 reviews.
On top of that, 1000xResist won the Peabody Award for Interactive & Immersive Work in 2025.
