Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl leaves Xbox Game Pass, accompanied by three more games

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, Football Manager 2024, Frostpunk, Spirittea, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, and the game preview of Blacksmith Master were added to the Leaving Soon catalog section of Xbox Game Pass and will leave Microsoft Gaming’s subscription service at a yet-to-be-announced date.

Developed and published by GSC Game World, the fourth main installment in the series and the first franchise title in 15 years since the release of 2009’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, is a single-player first-person shooter with survival horror elements that follows the story of Yevhen “Skif” Martynenko on his path to becoming a Stalker after awakening in an apartment destroyed by an anomaly that mysteriously appeared outside the Chernobyl Zone. The game is slated for launch on PlayStation 5 on Nov. 20, 2025.

The latest version of the football management simulator Football Manager 2024 will also leave Xbox Game Pass, while its successor, Football Manager 26, the twenty-second installment in the series, will drop to Microsoft Gaming’s subscription service on its release day, Nov. 4, 2025.

Developed and published by 11 Bit Studios, 2018’s city-building survival video game Frostpunk will also leave Xbox Game Pass, while its 2024 sequel from the same creators, Frostpunk 2, will remain in the catalog of Microsoft Gaming’s subscription service.

Developed by Cheesemaster Games and published by No More Robots, 2023’s fantasy life sim simulator Spirittea will also be excluded from the Xbox Game Pass catalogue.

The game preview of smithy management simulator Blacksmith Master, which landed on Xbox Game Pass on Aug. 19, 2025, will also leave the catalogue.
