Key points

  1. Destiny: Rising will merge servers on Nov. 6, 2025.
  2. NA servers will be merged with LATAM, while EMEA servers will be interconnected with APAC.
  3. The game’s developers will launch a 7-day sign-in event, Echoing Gunshots, to celebrate the start of Season 2 and the server merge.

Server interconnection notice for Destiny: Rising was published on the game’s official subreddit on Nov. 3, 2025. According to the post, players will also receive the notice via in-game inboxes.

According to the annnouncment cross-server play will be completed after the maintenance on Nov 6 2025.

North America (NA) servers will be merged with Latin America (LATAM), while Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) servers will be interconnected with the Asia-Pacific region (APAC).

All four servers, LATAM, NA, APAC, and EMEA, will remain available for selection, with the two merged servers sharing the same login information, meaning that logging in to LATAM will also log players in to NA, and logging in to APAC will also log in to EMEA and vice versa.

Once servers are merged, the two merged servers will share one daily reset, affecting such daily activities as Pinnacle Energy recovery, activity refreshes, and bounty refreshes, along with Morgran’s Prey Pinnacle Reward attempt refreshes.

Regarding characters, after the creation of a new Lightbearer following the server merge, players won’t be able to create another one on a merged server, while Lightbeares created on different servers prior to the merge will be retained. Following the server merge, players will be able to choose a default login character from either server, and afterward, the default login character will be available for selection in the in-game settings.

As for the usernames and duplicate names, if a duplicate username exists on both NA and LATAM, the LATAM Lightbearer’s name will be automatically changed to “Username#6004,” while if a duplicate username exists on both EMEA and APAC, the APAC Lightbearer’s name will be automatically changed to “Username#6003,” with Lightbearers whose names are undergoing changes receiving a notification in their mail along with one free Rename Card.

Duplicate Pack names will be addressed by renaming Packs that share the same name on NA and LATAM based on the priority of LATAM Preparing + NA Preparing + LATAM Founded to “PackName#6004” or “PackName#6001,” and on EMEA and APAC based on the priority of APAC Preparing + EMEA Preparing + APAC Founded to “PackName#6003” or “PackName#6002,” with leaders of renamed Packs receiving a notification by mail.

According to the announcement, chat histories on the LATAM and APAC servers will be deleted.

Once servers merge, Lightbearers will remain on their original physical server and will be prioritized for matchmaking on that server. When matching while in a team from another physical server, the server will be arranged according to which of the merged servers has more teammates.

Rewards for The Expanse, Calamity Ops, Gauntlet: Onslaught, and Shifting Gates leaderboards will be issued as usual based on the pre-server merge data. Going forward, server-wide rankings will be based on the post-server merge data.

To celebrate the start of Season 2 and the server merge, the game’s developers will launch a special 7-day sign-in event, Echoing Gunshots. For daily sign-ins, players will be able to claim Exotic Infusion Cores, Mythic Weapon Parameters, and Season of the Moor Engrams. For signing in for all seven days in a row, players will receive Superposed Photons and Mythic Weapon Engram – Gauntlet: Blitz (S2).
