The fifth game in the dark fantasy Thief series, set in the dense, sprawling metropolitan complex known as The City, will allow players to assume control over Magpie, who was able to obtain the mechanical eye of the protagonist of previous installments, named Garrett.
Creators of Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow promise that the title will offer a full range of stealth gameplay mechanics in line with the spirit of the franchise, including sneaking, pickpocketing, prying open hidden compartments, and bypassing locks through tactile interactions. On top of that, the protagonist will wield an array of arrows and tools to distract, disable, or eliminate threats.
The minimum system requirements for the game listed on its Steam page are Windows 10 (64-bit) and one of the supported VR headsets, which include Valve Index, Meta Rift, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest 3.
