  2. The financial report indicated a 48% year-over-year increase to $1.36 billion, with net bookings increasing 70% year-over-year to $1.92 billion.
  3. Consolidated net loss reached $257.4 million, up from $240.4 million loss last year.

In Q3 of 2025, Roblox saw a drastic increase in revenue compared to last year, but its net loss also increased. According to the official Q3 2025 financial report, which ended up on Sept. 30, Roblox earned $1.36 billion, representing a 48% year-over-year increase. The net bookings increased 70% year-over-year to $1.92 billion. As for the losses, the consolidated net loss reached $257.4 million, up from $240.4 million loss last year.

The top 1000 most successful Roblox devs received an average of $1.1 million from the platform over the course of the last 12 months, marking a 40% increase from last year’s figure.

Roblox’s daily average users went up to 151.5 million users, with users older than 13 years old now representing 67% of the users. Despite this figure, Roblox is still under fire for allegedly being a breeding ground for sexual predators and pedophiles, resulting in Iraq banning Roblox, the Florida attorney general issuing criminal subpoenas to Roblox, and the Louisiana attorney general suing the platform.  A content creator who assisted in the arrest of six child predators was banned from the platform earlier this year; Michael “Sclep” received a cease and desist letter, threatening potential legal action against the YouTuber.

The gaming platforms’ increase is largely attributed to three games: Grow a Garden, Steal a Brainrot, and 99 Nights in the Forest. Steal a Brainrot currently has the highest concurrent player count record on Roblox, having hit 24,127,405 players on Sept 13, undoubtedly contributing to Roblox’s increasing revenue in Q3 of 2025. This achievement far surpasses the highest concurrent player count on all of Steam’s most popular games.
