Resident Evil Requiem opens preorders, announces Amiibo and Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller

On Oct. 29, 2025, Capcom announced that Resident Evil Requiem’s preorders are now open for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The game will also be the first-ever Resident Evil game on the Epic Games Store, which will be celebrated by releasing a Grace skin on Fortnite on the day of its release.
What’s even more surprising is the announcement of a Grace Amiibo and a Resident Evil Requiem-themed Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller. They will be available in summer 2026 and on Feb. 27, 2025, respectively.
Resident Evil Requiem will have two editions: deluxe and standard. The deluxe edition will feature the base game, plus an exclusive pack of five costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, two weapon charms and more. Players who preorder any of the editions will receive a costume for Grace called Apocalypse.
Capcom also said that other collaboration items from Resident Evil will also be distributed after the game’s launch. The developers said that they will release more information about the collaboration soon.
Resident Evil Requiem is set to release on Feb. 27, 2025, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The game comes back to Raccoon City after its destruction, which happened in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.
