The free Balatro collab titled Ante Chamber dropped to Vampire Survivors simultaneously with Update 1.14, which brought online co-op to the game and more, on Oct 28, 2025.
Balatro-themed Vampire Survivors: Ante Chamber DLC brings four new characters to the game: forklift-certified clown Jimbo, tragic clown in oversized finery Canio, dressed in the cap with bells Chicot, and shorty named Perkeo.

New characters bring to Vampire Survivors four new weapons, including Infernolatro, summoning a burning score counter; Gros Michel, releasing a barrage of banana projectiles; Fibonacci Seltzer, firing mathematically beautiful spiraling streams of fizzy destruction; and Celestial Booster, deploying planets and a rocket constantly orbiting the character, along with their respective evolutions. Besides that the expansion braught a new map, Ante Chamber, which is an extradimensional analogue of Balatro‘s user interface.
As for Update 1.14, it added online co-op, along with a gamba-themed stage, Westwoods, and a labyrinth-themed stage, Mazerella; a new relic that enables local multiplayer Party Mode (allowing up to 4 characters to play at the same time); as well as 2 new playable characters, 1 new Character Morph, 2 new weapons with their respective evolutions, 1 new PowerUp, 3 new Darkanas, and the Survarot game mechanic, which is a new form of power creep currently usable by the character Secretino and all the Ante Chamber characters.
On top of that, the Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania expansion also received the update containing 16 new secret characters, 3 new weapons and evos, 13 new weapon unions, 1 new adventure, and 12 new music tracks.
Developed and published by studio Poncle for macOS and Windows PCs, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Android and iOS platforms, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, Vampire Survivors is a bullet-hell roguelite that doesn’t contain much plot and simply tasks players with timed surviving runs.
Vampire Survivors received 6 accolades in different categories across multiple industry award ceremonies.
As of the time of writing, the game has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam, with 241,674 reviews.
