Turn-based 4X strategy Songs of Conquest surpassed 750,000 copies sold, as was announced on the game’s official Steam page on Oct 27, 2025.
Developed by Lavapotion and published by Coffee Stain Publishing, the game is playable on both iOS and Android platforms, as well as on Windows and macOS PCs, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Inspired by 90s classics such as Heroes of Might and Magic III, the title features a strategy part that involves kingdom management, such as recruiting Wielders and units, constructing and improving buildings, as well as turn-based combat skirmishes, along with an adventure part that is supported by the unique fantasy setting and story, presented through a combination of 2D pixel art style, 3D environments, and baked-in volumetric lighting.
To celebrate the milestone, Songs of Conquest rolled out a 75% discount on Steam, dropping the price to $7.49, which will remain until Nov 7, 2025.
On top of that, along with the celebratory price cuts, the game’s developer launched an update focused on the co-op feature, Spectate Battles option, and the ability to gift settlements, artifacts, and units to your allies in co-op maps.
