Activision reveals Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 to be “biggest black ops ever”

On Oct. 24, 2025, the official Call of Duty X account published a tweet saying that the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be the “biggest black ops ever,” in terms of maps, as the post has hinted. The developers also mentioned that Season 01 will be the franchise’s “most massive season yet.”
According to them, here are the maps that will be available at launch:
- Blackheart
- Colossus
- Cortex
- Den
- Exposure
- Express
- Flagship
- Hijacked
- Homestead
- Imprint
- Mission: Edge
- Mission: Tide
- Paranoia
- Raid
- Retrieval
- Scar
- The Forge
- Toshin
- Ashes of the Damned (Zombies)
- Vandorn Farm (Zombies Survival)
And on Season 01, the developers are going to add the following:
- Nuketown 2025 (Nov. 20)
- Fate
- Utopia
- Odysseus
- Standoff
- Meltdown
- Yakei
- Astra Malorum (Zombies)
- Exit 115 (Zombies Survival)
- Zarya Cosmodrome (Zombies Survival)
Aside from the maps mentioned, the developers did not really talk about what other content will be in the game; however, the replies under the announcement were mostly positive.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be released on Nov. 14, 2025, for the PlayStation 4 & 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Based on recent reports, the game’s anti-cheat system has banned 97% of cheaters within 30 minutes of access, giving hope to players that the game will finally be free from aimbots, wallhacks and the like.
