Sonic Rumble finally received a release date following multiple setbacks and will launch on Nov. 5, 2025.
The game will land on both Android and iOS platforms, as well as on Windows PC via Steam and Google Play Games.
The title, which officially opened pre-registration on mobile platforms back in late 2024, is developed by Sega’s Sonic Team in collaboration with Rovio, the studio behind Angry Birds.
Set in a toy-themed world built by Sonic’s longtime foe, Dr. Eggman, Sonic Rumble is a multiplayer party title that allows players to race, compete and battle across various arenas, all set to a soundtrack of iconic Sonic music.
The roster of playable characters in the title will include all main franchise heroes, such as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow and Dr. Eggman. On top of that, the upcoming new installment of the Hedgehog series will let up to 32 players play co-op via the Crews feature.
