On Oct. 23, 2025, HoYoverse finally unveiled that its upcoming “cosmic life sim,” Petit Planet, will have its closed beta on Nov. 7, 2025. Interested players will be able to sign up for it by completing a survey on the Petit Planet official website.
Based on the trailer that was released last month, this game seems to have departed from the usual games that the developers has developed. As described by HoYoverse, players in Petit Planet will be able to “nurture a planet of their own and build connections with different planets scattered across the sky.”
Petit Planet will be the studio’s first cozy game, with a lot of focus on social and multiplayer aspects. The trailer showed players interacting with each other, fishing and even just walking around their own world, giving visitors a tour.
Additionally, players will be able to decorate their planet and even cook by unlocking recipes and ingredients. Exploration also seems to play a huge part in the game.
While HoYoverse still hasn’t mentioned when the game will be officially launched, the company confirmed that the closed beta will be available on PC and iOS only. Android wasn’t mentioned, nor was a reason provided for why it isn’t included in the closed beta.
