Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition is slated to release on Nov. 10, 2025, debuting six new expansions for the decade-old title. The expansions are as follows: Far Harbor, Contraptions Workshop, Valt-Tec Workshop, Wasteland Workshop, Automatron, and Nuka World. These expansions were teased during the Fallout Day Broadcast 2025, which debuted the trailer for the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition. The broadcast occurred on Oct. 23, 2025.
The game is marketed to have 150+ new creations added to the game, which refers to weapons, armor, outfits, quest items, and other new content. The game will have a Nintendo Switch 2 port as well, scheduled for 2026; no exact release date has been disclosed for the Switch 2 iteration of the title.
Fallout 4 was first released on Nov. 10, 2015, exactly ten years prior to the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition’s release date. It was launched on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The title reportedly sold over 25 million copies, making it the best-selling game in the franchise. During its initial launch day, it shipped 1.2 million units and generated over $750 million in sales.
