The only Fallout title to release on the Nintendo Switch was the spinoff title Fallout Shelter. The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition is scheduled to launch on the other platforms on Nov. 10, exactly ten years after the original Fallout 4’s debut.
The expansions are as follows: Far Harbor, Contraptions Workshop, Valt-Tec Workshop, Wasteland Workshop, Automatron, and Nuka World. These expansions were teased during the Fallout Day Broadcast 2025, which debuted the trailer for the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition. The broadcast took place on October 23, 2025.
The game is marketed to have 150+ new creations added to the game, which refers to weapons, armor, outfits, quest items, and other new content. Fallout 4 was first launched on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The title reportedly sold over 25 million copies, making it the best-selling game in the franchise. During its initial launch day, it shipped 1.2 million units and generated over $750 million in sales.
