The negotiations are scheduled to begin on Oct. 30 and are set to conclude by the end of November. According to the official blog post, the restructuring proposal is marketed to simply reduce costs and ensure a “stronger prioritization and efficiency across the company’s worldwide studio network.”
“We recognize the weight of this announcement and want to acknowledge the impact this proposal may have on individuals and teams,” Celine Pasula, Managing Director of Ubisoft RedLynx, said.
If the proposal is to go through, RedLynx will shift its focus to a multiplatform setup in a studio specialized in mobile devices, referred to as small screens in the public statement.
