On Oct. 22, 2025, Capcom acknowledged that there is a current issue in the Steam version of Monster Hunter Wilds involving PC crashes. According to the developers, the crash is triggered by hovering the mouse over specific Palico gears.
The developers listed three Palico gears that may crash the game:
- Felyne Ghost α
- Meowrionette α
- Felyne Udra γ
These three Palico gears were recently added to the game during the Festival of Accord: Dreamspell event. As of now, the crashing has only been reported in the PC version of the game and not in any other platform.
While the developers have acknowledged the problem, they are still investigating the issue and working on a fix. They did not mention a time frame regarding when the fix will be implemented, either. The developers simply cautioned players not to hover over the affected armor sets.
Recently, Monster Hunter Wilds started its Halloween-themed event, the Festival of Accord: Dreamspell. The event added login bonuses, new challenge quests and a whole lot more content that players can engage in. Additionally, the Grand Hub will be decorated with spooky ornaments throughout the event. Festival of Accord: Dreamspell will run from Oct. 21, 2025, to Nov. 12, 2025.
