Battlefield 6 Rogue Ops post launch content launches on Oct. 28, debuting various new content. Blackwell Fields is the new map being added, accompanied with the new mode Strikepoint. The SOR-0300SC carbine, GGH-22 sidearm, Mini Scout sniper rifle, and rail cover and LPV0 attachment are the new attachments to join the game.
Blackwell Fields is a map that is said to support all combat sizes, alongside both land and air vehicles. Strikepoint is an upcoming 4v4 team tactical mode, where squads fight one another across multiple rounds to capture a key objective. There is only one life per round. The APC Traverser Mark 2 is a land vehicle that seats four: a driver, a roof gunner, and two backseat passenger side gunners.

The Rogue Ops season 1 post launch content was teased in on Sept. 30, as a part of EA’s season 1 preview. Each season, according to the blog post, will deliver brand new content every month that not only enhance Battlefield 6 Multiplayer, but are also available for creators to add to Community Experiences using the Portal Builder tool.
On Nov. 18, the United States alliance will defy the odds in the California Resistance and take the battle to Eastwood. And on Dec. 9, the Winter Offensive blankets the Empire state in snow. More details regarding the upcoming content in future updates are included within EA’s season 1 preview.
Despite the game’s success, the community has been vocal in their complaints of the state of the game, especially in regard to the reduced tickets for rounds, a decision EA announced they are reverting back to the original launch value of 1,000.
“Battlefield players want large, expansive, and longer battles on large maps. Instead, Dice is announcing smaller battles and has recently reduced the tickets to make the rounds even shorter,” one user stated.
Another user responded “it has sold really well. They don’t care.”
Battlefield 6 has sold over 7 million copies; the title is EA’s biggest launch in franchise history, according to a press release published on Oct. 16. Over 172 million matches were played online, and over 15 million hours were watched on streaming services.
The game achieved the most concurrent players in Battlefield history, with the Steam iteration of the game having surpassed 700,000 concurrent players on the platform. The total number of players across platforms is projected to be much higher, but other console concurrent player figures are not readily available.
