The game’s launch on Nintendo Switch 2 will arrive with all previously released DLCs, including Ratatoskr, Gravity Gun, and Photo Mode.
Developed by Dee Dee Creations and published by Maximum Entertainment, the title was initially released for Windows PC on Aug. 29, 2024, and then received ports on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on Oct. 15, 2024.
Squirrel with a Gun allows players to control a squirrel that wields a gun as it escapes a secret underground facility and pesters the residents of a neighborhood.
While the squirrel’s primary ability is using guns, ranging from pistols, shotguns, and sniper rifles to RPGs and anti-personnel landmines, the game also features non-violent activities such as stealing food from residents or helping NPCs complete tasks.
As of the time of writing, the game has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, with 2,666 reviews.
