Battlefield 6 is about to restore recently reduced Conquest starting tickets following community backlash and will revert the ticket count across all maps to their original launch value of 1,000 and 45-minute timed rounds, as was announced by the game’s developer on the title’s official subreddit on Oct. 17, 2025.

Besides that, according to the official Community Update, the game’s developers are planning to speed up progression and the XP gained from match completion and the daily bonus will be increased by 10% and 40%, respectively, while the XP needed to unlock the first 20 attachment ranks is about to be reduced, nearly doubling the rate of earning useful attachments.

According to the Community Update the assignments that previously required career ranks 20, 23, and 26 to begin will now require career ranks 10, 15, and 20, respectively.

The developers highlighted that for weapons that are already being progressed, the UI might display something abnormal at first, but this should resolve itself once a match is played using that weapon.

Published by Electronic Arts and developed by Battlefield Studios, which includes DICE, Ripple Effect, Motive and Criterion, Battlefield 6 released on Oct. 10, 2025, and sold over 7 million copies during the first three days of launch.

The 18th installment in the Battlefield series features a multiplayer mode alon with a single-player campaign set in 2027, centered around a conflict between a fractured NATO and a private military company, Pax Armata.

As of the time of writing, the game playable on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC has a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam, with 88,381 reviews and an all-time peak of 747,440 concurrent players, according to SteamDB.
